ONE-to-ONE was developed to connect people seeking help with supportive people and to create new friendships.ONE-to-ONE, as the name implies, wants everyone to care for a single other person - outside of family & friends.
Where "taking care" can also mean giving someone time, listening, giving a little tip and much more.
Just where exactly can I find those people who are ideally sympathetic to me and whom I know exactly how I can help?

This is exactly what ONE-to-ONE wants to do: to help people who are seeking for help and assistance from home and abroad to get to know each other easily (virtually, for the time being) in order to jointly examine where help in the direct exchange between humans can make life more beautiful.
The help seeker, who receives something that he lacks, and the helper, who gets more than just a good feeling for finally offering assistance directly where it is really needed without the bureaucratic hurdles.

If anyone who is better off can take care of exactly one person who is not, we can achieve great things.
We do not necessarily think of exchanging goods; which is of course also possible.
Refugees for example, need very specific things that are just lying around and not being used by the locals (boxes, candles, bicycle accessories, etc.).

A know that family B from the neighborhood needs this?
ONE-to-ONE can do that.
However, it can do much more.
It aims to build bridges, reduce prejudice and tear down walls.
Walls of prejudice and ignorance.
When spoken of "them" or "them up there" etc.
ONE-to-ONE helps bring together people who have much more in common through their interests, hobbies, jobs, musical instruments, sports, etc.
And THEN it makes learning and helping much more fun!
